Color Guard Tryouts – April 16-20, 5:00 – 8:00 pm in the NC Auxiliary Gym
Percussion Auditions – Friday, April 27, 6:00 – 9:00 pm & Saturday, April 28, 9:00 – 4:00 pm
Big Shanty Parade – Saturday, April 21 – We will meet in Kennesaw at 8:30 am, parade begins at 9:30 am
Band Banquet – May 5 – Join us on Saturday, May 5, from 6:00 – 9:00 pm at Kennesaw First Baptist Church for our year end Band Banquet. More information will be coming home with the students soon.
Scott Coley Volunteer of the Year Award – Please submit your nominations for the Scott Coley Volunteer of the Year Award to Mr. Frazier and Mr. Pannell by Friday, April 20. The recipient will be announced at the banquet.
Band/Guard Fees – A list of students has been turned in to the front office for the following:
- All seniors that have an outstanding balance.
- Any underclassmen that have an outstanding balance of $200 or more.
Anyone owing fees will NOT be allowed to purchase prom tickets, attend the band banquet, or participate in graduation ceremonies.
May Band Camp/Commitment Night – Our May Band Camp will be May 16 – 17, 5:00 – 8:00 pm. This camp is for all who plan to march in the 2018/2019 season. On Thursday, May 17, at 7:00 pm there will be a mandatory parent meeting. At this meeting we will have notaries available for paperwork.

The North Cobb High School Band Booster organization includes a number of committees that help support the band program. Assistance with the committees is almost always needed, so we are constantly looking for more hands and minds to help out year-round, not just during marching season.
