Color Guard – North Cobb High School Bands

The Color Guard acts as the “color” of the Marching Band by being a visual representation of the overall music interpretation and design of the show. Members learn from skilled instructors of in the areas of flag, rifle, saber and dance. The group is selected through an audition process that takes place in April/May of each year.

The North Cobb Color Guard performances include all home and away football games, pep rallies, select local parades, local and regional competitions, and other community events. During competitions, the Color Guard adds to the overall score of the band (visual and general effect captions), additionally the guard is given an individual score by a judge selected for their specific nature.

SUPPORT THE BAND

The North Cobb High School Band Booster organization includes a number of committees that help support the band program. Assistance with the committees is almost always needed, so we are constantly looking for more hands and minds to help out year-round, not just during marching season.
